“I usually use St Tropez but got fed up with constantly...”

Written on: 13/02/2010

I usually use St Tropez but got fed up with constantly staining the bed sheets orange! I searched online to find Xen-Tan Dark Tanning Lotion had been rated one of the best fake tans by multiple magazines....it is! When you apply it, it smells like Bakewell tart, lovely and almondy! Nothing like a bottle of any other fake tan I've tried. Only problem is.... don't apply without gloves! I had some gloves but on the bottle its says best applied with bare hands so I took the risk. I did my whole body but my palms were bright reddy/brown stained with product. After about 15 scrubs it came off but next time I'll definatley wear the gloves! Once on, it wasn't wet or sticky, I was able to wear loose clothing and go to bed to let it develop...it didn't stain the sheets! I rinsed off in the morning like it says and hardly any product washed off unlike with St Tropez. It did smell slightly like fake tan at this point though, no almonds anymore. But I was left with a perfectly natural looking tan all over. As with any tan it took better in some places than others but I'm going to apply a second layer tonight to deepen it. It is absoloutley worth the money..especially if you buy it from a trusted seller on ebay instead of direct from Xen Tan.
