Good Points
The modeled sounds on the amp are spot on - I used to own an Ampeg B15N and it nails that almost perfectly. I bought this amp during the "free pedal" offer and the pedal makes it very convenient to quickly check tuning and to bump up the volume for solos.
Bad Points
Can't seem to get the 1/8" aux input to work at all but i don't have much use for it anyway so didn't bother to go through the hassle of returning it (bought via mail from Sweetwater). I will have to put a dab of white nail polish on th controls as the black dots on them are just about invisible under lighting on gigs.
General Comments
I have been gigging regularly in a swing band (Goodman, Miller, etc.) and I have been able to dial in a nice, fat low end and still maintain lots of punch that the horn players really like to groove over. The drummer loves the sound of it compared to the Hartke KickBack 10 (30 lbs) I had been using. Anything that weighs over 30 pounds better be good or I don't want to haul it (we all get older!) and this thing is worth hauling its 50 lbs to gigs. Some reviewers seem to think this amp is too small for gigs - I'd agree for lots of rock, alternative, etc. genres that is probably true but not for jazz, swing, dixieland .... In a large venue you'd probably being going into the house PA console anyway.
