“I have just come back from Fairview with my 2 children...”

I have just come back from Fairview with my 2 children and a friend with her 2 children & I have to say I wish I had read this review site before I booked. We fortunately booked with a national newspaper so didnt pay too much for our long weekend break but I feel sorry for anyone who pays a lot of money to stay at this campsite.



The directions to the site from Fairway were really good however we were really surprised to find the site in the middle of a housing estate!!!!! Upone arrival to the caravan itself, we immediately noticed how run down & dated it seemed. The flooring, curtains & bedding were filthy & when I took off the fitted bedsheet (on our departure) I was shocked at the state of the mattress. The duvets were so thin, they would stuggle to keep a cat warm, never mind children. The pillows had the covers sewn to them, so I can only hope that they were washed & then sewn on again.

We pulled out one of the single beds & I found a big hair clip full of dust (not belonging to our family) it had obviously been there quite a while.

I wiped a spoon before using it & dirt came off onto the cloth & as for the shower, well I am sure there was something growing in the corner.

The campsite it not ideally situated if you want a beach holiday with kids as its quite a trek, especially with beach toys etc, so a car is essential.



All in all our experience at Fairway was good as we didnt pay much & tried to spend as little time as possible in the caravan or the site. I just hope I havent caught any bugs, lice or fleas from the "lovely" caravan!!!!!
