General Comments
Arc'teryx are renowned world wide for their high quality outdoor sportswear. They are considered to be the leading brand for outdoor essentials bettering that of The North Face, Mountain Hardwear, Mountain Equipment and Berghaus to name a few! Their radical new technologies simplistic design and general features were scoffed at only until recently when other leading brands began to copy their technical features! All this was way back in 1991 when they were first foundered! Recently back in 2002 they began a new line of clothing designed specificaly for the world Law Enforcement and Armed Forces (LEAF) (www.arcteryx.com/leaf) Now they are renowned throughout America for producing top quality Military equipment for the USMC and Delta Force. Their simple design ethics and feature packed clothing remain intact! A personal preference to any clothing buyer should be where it is made, unfortunatley the arc'teryx LEAF range is not manufactured in Canada, instead it is produced in Peuto Rico bu Propper International. As fantastic as this equipment is, unfortunatley it is only available at a high price to Law enfocement services and the armed forces. However the reason for this review being here is that this equipment is als available to members of the Army Cadet Force, as Arc'teryx is a Canadian company it is highly likley that this equipment can be purchased by British Army Cadets with written proof of identity from a detachment commander! So next time your looking to spend stupid ammounts of money on gear try Arc'teryx LEAF.
