“There's not too many things in life that can go for 30...”

Written on: 28/12/2002 by Tom. (1 review written)

Good Points
Rock solid reliability. Full manual control. Excellent quality and variety of lenses available at reasonable cost.

Bad Points
Lack of hot shoe (on older models). Weight. Requires the user to have a fundamental understanding of photography. These cameras are 20 to 30 years old, so it would be difficult to obtain spare parts if needed...mine is 29 years old and hasn't needed a repair yet :).

General Comments
There's not too many things in life that can go for 30 years without needing repairs...my Canon F-1 is one of them.

I've used this camera everywhere from glaciers in Alaska to architecture in New Mexico and it hasn't failed me yet.
