I opened a direct ISA account over 3 years ago and let it earn interest, the application was easy and have received yearly statments. I am now in the process of trying to close the account and oh no it seems to be the most difficult issue in teh world, i called back in March to get the details and i had it confirmed it was need by phone. I have phoned recently only to be told i need a password sent out to me and then i need to call back in to change my password and then i can close my account.
It just seems a big issue to get my money back out. Never using them again.
