“Absolutely awful. Been connected (i use that word in...”

Absolutely awful. Been connected (i use that word in the loosest of terms) for a few weeks now and you can only use the internet in the middle of the night or very early in the morning. It completely seizes up at peak times. I previously had broadband at this address through Sky, BT and O2 - all of which were fine, never one problem and consistently good speeds. Signed up to Orange and the whole thing seized up. The connection regularly drops out and I have recorded speed tests as low as 0.19mbps. Basically we are paying broadband prices for the equivalent of a bad dial up....an VERY bad dial up.



Customer service is terrible as well. after about an hour of talking to tech support and being guided through utterly pointless tweaks on the router I was told I now had two options - 1. get a new phone line on the middle floor (he obviously didn't listen when I informed him that it made no difference where I was in the house, and that I had never had any range issues before), and my personal favourite: 2. BUY a new router YOURSELF!!!!!



Needless to say I am doing everything in my power to get out of the 18 month contract they have us tied into.



PLEASE, DO NOT SIGN UP TO ORANGE BROADBAND UNLESS YOU WANT TO GIVE SOMEONE MONEY FOR A PRODUCT THAT YOU ARE TECHNICALLY NOT RECEIVING.
