Tom Tom Go 910 have some of the most expensive map...”

Written on: 05/04/2009

Good Points
I own it, so I will use in in the 2nd car.

Bad Points
I will never purchase another TomTom product.

General Comments
Tom Tom Go 910 have some of the most expensive map updates in the industry. Now they charge for the map update based on the length of time it has been since your last update.

If you do not want the automatic annual, quarterly update, they will not allow you to just download a map update.

The original 910 GO was great because it had an 18 gig hard drive and ran under unix. Once they went the Microsoft route, and started using only flash memory cards, they severely limited the products and their capability.
