Good Points
2 continents covered!
Free traffic nav for 1 month
Huge recent history of 30+ destinations, unlikely to need favourites
Satellite picture when zoomed out on route preview is very cool.
Accurate arrival estimates
Reads road names (others do not)

Bad Points
Slower to calculate than smaller models with map of UK only, say.
Heavier and bulkier than a TomTom Navigator, or TomTom 5 with a PDA.
Sometimes GPS put me 20m away from my actual point, mostly TomTom was able to 'join me back' to the road I was actually on, but got confused if a road was parallel to my own. Either the Canadian maps are all off by 20m or extreme altitude pushes GPS location out by 20m. No issues so far in UK between London and Leeds.

General Comments
Bought this TomTom Go 910 on way out of UK to my road-trip honeymoon around The Canadian Rockies, even had street level mapping on some pretty obscure roads. Restaurant and Hotel look-up not so comprehensive, but who'd expect it to cover all restaurants in US and Canada anyway.

Best of all, it works at home too! Can't wait until the TMC/RDS Ariel comes out, as I'll then be able to get free traffic warnings - for now I'm making do with the free trial of TomTom Plus.
