Having rented a van to drive from London to Scotland I returned the car with minor damage to the external plastic bumper measuring no more than a few inches.
They claimed the repair work was £500 and took the maximum they could off me which was £300. I was informed that the vehicles are repaired by a third party however the invoice I received was headed with "Enterprise" logo.
It is fairly obvious that this amount was made up in order for Enterprise to charge as much they could and get as much money off me as possible. There was no way it cost £500 to repair the damage. I would note that this includes as admin fee of £25 and a loss of vehicle use of £148, again more made up figures to push up the cost to the customer.
I am written this as an honest customer and would warn others to avoid using Enterprise at all cost .
I was also informed by Enterprise if I paid an addition sum of circa £25 my excess would be waivered which was a total lie.
My claim reference is DXU10549L if anyone at Enterprise can be bothered to respond.
