General Comments
The Sharp GX1 mobile phone's first impression is WOW! It's a beautiful phone with a smart built in camera, the buttons feel good, and the screen is pretty big. It comes with a hands free kit and a charger as standard. Inserting the battery and the sim is easy enough. After you've plugged it in, you can begin. A wonderfully vivid screen is what meets you. The camera itself is surprisingly good. It's sharper than my Intel Webcam. Although it uses a mirror so if your walls are bright, take this as a warning!
Finding your way about can be a bit scary the first time, has lots of little nooks and crannies in the navigation system, but after an hours use youve adapted. Wonderfull MIDI 16chord ringtones can be downloaded {Although im a bit confused about if im using GPRS or WAP eek!} Packed with the latest technology, the phone is great.
O2 has an excellent signal here in scotland, and the phones call/sound quality is brilliant. There are only three games, and Java games are a no go as this aint a java fone.
Compared to other handsets
The gx1 vrs Gx10 = Almost identical, apart from the flipyness on the GX10 and the GX10 has an easier scratching cover.
The GX1 vrs T100 = The T100 is not really anything special, and the GX1 outrates this phone by a mile.
The GX1 vrs the NOKIA 7650 - Tough competition, i prefer the GX1 because it's sleeker and isn't so big.
