The Redhouse Chester - Very poor service! Was a glorious Sunday so decided to eat outside. We had to go to the bar to order our own drinks as they were unable to serve us at our table. When our food arrived and we asked for some cutlery, the girl who was waiting on said that the cutlery was up at the bar if we wanted to go and get it - very abrupt! In the meantime a few more couples had sat down at table nearby and went up to the bar to order some food, only to return promptly to their tables after being told that they would have to eat inside as they don't serve food outside after 5pm anymore!! When we asked the waiter why this was the case, particularly when most people would have taken this option on a glorious evening, he advised that there was a new manager and was obviously changing things as he went along. Another question for the Redhouse......... do you or do you not allow dogs in the terrace/garden area??!! Depending on what mood the Manager is in, seems to determine this one! Lovely setting but heavily over priced and customer service is virtually non-existant!!
