Good Points
Having bought the Garmin Nuvi 310 about 18 months ago on the whole I was very happy with the performance of this device. I bought a sim card for North America and it was faultless.

General Comments
After only 18 months of little use, and no sympathy from Garmin. I suggest you by a TomTom. The day before we left Canada it couldn't find a satellite signal and has not been able to find one since. On phoning Garmin the best advice was to have a repair/swap at a cost of £101.00.
