“We were called up by this company on a Sunday...”

We were called up by this company on a Sunday afternoon and told the story of 'we are doing a marketing promotion in your area' blah, blah, blah - but because we are actually in the market for a new kitchen, I thought (against my better judgement that this might be a scam) why not? No harm in seeing them. They came around at 7.30 that same evening and spent ages slagging off other companies, and saying how wonderful Space Kitchens were, but was an hour and a half before he even properly started looking at the design and it was clear he was not a designer but a salesman - he just kept asking 'what would you want there?' and I thought - 'you tell me, you're the designer'. In the end my husband got so hacked off with him, he told the salesman to go - which he did as my husband is quite well built! Today I've had lots of blocked calls on my mobile, but no voicemail messages left, so I guess that's them trying to rebook an appointment with us. That wouldn't have happened anyway, as my husband would not have them in the house again, but thankfully I've now had a chance to Google the company and find all these negative reviews. Sounds as though we had a lucky escape!
