Good Points
Eye popping performance, very comfortable, very safe, different, a statement against the German rivals, looks great. Saab's quirky reassurance

Bad Points
Not the best at corners, wet grip a bit risky with all that power! In my case, a tendancy to self combust in the driveway at 3.30am, resulting in a very HOT Saab!

General Comments
Before my (fathers) HOT Aero died, it was simply 'the best thing since sliced bread'.

As everyone else says, the SAAB perfomance is breath taking, as in manual spec, you get that extra surge of torque when you floor it, which is very exciting indeed. There are faster cars on the road, but not many, and none at this price.

Inside is soft high quality leather, electric memory seats, and an ambiance of quality like a Jag.

In the two or so years we (my family) had this car, it's was faultless, right up until it set it's interior on fire in our driveway at 3.30am.

It was of course a complete write off, the interior being the charred remains of melted plastic, leather, and burnt carpet. Yes it was scary, the xenon lights had turned themselves on the alarm and horn were going bonkers, and strangley the engine was idleing (with the gear locked in reverse?) (Fire brigade say cause=accidental)

Shame really, I loved that car, father went the BMW route... it's not that bad.....
