If you sign up for the 30day free credit report a] Don't expect a credit score
and b] you can only cancel via phone call during which you'll no doubt have to tell the operator at least six times that you 'just wish to cancel the account' before it finally sinks in.
Exhausting.
I also tried callcreditcheck.com - you actually get a score and can cancel via web-link - much less hassle.
