Good Points
I have been using Baxters' various soups for about 20 years and appreciated their classical flavours ever since with only a few, more recent exceptions.
Bad Points
It is most regrettable that I am forced to complain about the current vogue to use Garlic in many of todays food products and in addition seem to hide this `Improvement` in the smallest possible print size on the label. I have twice tried to force myself into eating these products but failed miserably.
General Comments
Baxters Healthy Soup - Many years ago I gave up using any of these soups when they put a flash on the label of many of their soups indicating `new improved flavour`,the only difference being the addition of garlic which I could smell even before cooking started.
At this point I should admit that I am an 82 year old amputee (since last year) confined to a wheelchair and reliant on other people to do my shopping. Unfortunately their eyesight is not as good as mine to avoid this addition and I am reduced to giving tins of soup to anyone who will take them away. You would be surprised how many have declined!
Lastly I would ask that they consider making my favourite soups,-Oxtail and Celery (Without garlic in either)
Sorry to go on a bit but I haven`t found a method of filtering the garlic out of the soups yet.
