“I recently picked up a second hand kit in weird sizes...”

I recently picked up a second hand kit in weird sizes (10'', 13'' and 22''.



I set the kit up with Evens G2 coateds on the toms and Evans EMADS with a kick port on the kick drum.



The toms sound tight, punchy, resonant and bright without being ringy and even though I'm using the 13'' as a floor tom its got plenty of bottom end and engineers love it because it cuts through the mix a lot better than a larger drum.



The kick sounds like THUNDER although that could be due to the heads.



Very well made kit, being second hand it has a couple of scuffs but otherwise it looks great. The finish is a lovely deep off-white gloss with chrome hardware.



I don't have the matching snare so I can't comment on that.



Anyway, if you're thinking about buying one of these then you have my full recommendation. Great kit.
