General Comments
This ComBro CB 625 Mk 4 Air Rifle Chronograph is truly one of those things you REALLY cannot do without!

It is easy to set up after removing from its packing - simply undo the battery hatch, insert the supplied batteries,do it up, turn it on and way you jolly well go. Attaching it to your rifles barrel or silencer is simplicity itself, all you do is secure the chrono bracket with an elastic band and then attach the chrono to the bracket. This chrono tells you your power output in foot pounds and joules, pellet speed in feet per second or meters per second. It also can store a couple of strings of shots so you can transfer them to paper to build up a 'map' of your rifles power/efficiency curve. All you have to do, once the chrono is set up, is to manually input information regarding pellet weight (in grains) and calibre and the 625 does the rest for you!

PLUS, there is the added bonus that you can purchase from ComBro, a PC interface lead (which has a serial port plug on the pc end) which is connected to the chrono at one end by a tiny plug, and the pc at the other end. Now once you decide to purchase the interface lead, combro have all the software for the pc and chrono to allow it to run in any windows version using Combros own little chronograph program that gives you all the information provided to you by the chrongraph itself, but with the added advantage that you can save it all to your pc. (and print it out if you wish!) And now to price: The chrono itself is £39.95p inc vat and is carriage/postage free. There is a pack of ten batteries for the chronograph(optional but I ordered these with it) which comes to £1.50p. Now, the chrono interface lead is $8.95 inc vat - again, postage free. Post sales support is good too.
