Good Points
I purchased an ex demonstrator Accord Aerodeck 2.2 automatic in 1998, following on from a VERY successful and wonderful Civic ESi. Car is not as manoueverable as the Civic but has been a pleasure to drive, extremely comfortable and roomy, with large boot. Acceleration is great and I can overtake anything with confidence.
Bad Points
Unfortunately, over the last 3 years, since moving garages, had to as I moved house, I have had a catalogue of problems, viz gear box needed replacing, radiator had to be replaced. Driver's window stuck, and had to be replaced again, as first attempt at repair was unsuccessful. I also took car in to garage, because of overheating and was told it was OK to drive, however it had something loose, happened at last service, which was causing major smells and overheating! Result is I now am changing the car to another Japanese make, have totally lost confidence in the garage. I wrote to Honda UK, rec'd phone call from a woman who was extremely aggressive, and eventually asked me if I wanted money, all I wanted was an investigation of the garage (their dealership) and some sympathy and reassurance. Garage denied all responsibility for some problems that occurred immediately after service and involved 2 breakdowns, breakdown Company pretty certain that careless servicing had caused these. So sorry Honda - a many years loyal customer lost!

Honda Accord Review
I still believe Hondas are great cars and if I had an alternative dealership within 20 miles I would get another, perhaps the manufacturer should monitor dealerships more carefully. After all the sale of a new car is only the start of a good car/garage relationship.
