Good Points
Troopers will run FOREVER! plenty of storage room, and yet not to big.

Bad Points
The V6 in my '92 has no vrumph, towing and low end power are a problem for her. I never did like the back seat on my '87 and '86, no leg room, but all the fun was up front behind the wheel any way!

General Comments
Im now on my third Isuzu Trooper 4x4, the first was an '87 which was lost in a huricane in NJ after 250,000 miles. My second was an '86 unfoutunatly mother nature took her toll on the body and frame, the motor wouldnt die, with just over 200,000 on the clock when they took it last week. I now drive a '92 which I got as a graduation gift from my father, who knows how many of these trucks he's had, I lost count!, but each one of them had over 200,000 miles on them, I find that compared to the other 2 trucks i've had, this one is extremly under powered, that is the only thing that is keeping me from tricking it out with all the off road goodies, but I guess that just like the trucks them selves, if you have a vision, go for it, and with a bit of direction the truck will take care of the dirty work! I cant imagine driving anything else, snow, sand, mud, or just tooling about in my back yard, they wont quit. I've never owned anything else, belive me i've been trying to kill these things since I started driving and I still haven't done it! Happy trails all! -George.
