Anyone opening an account in Ireland: Do NOT use Bank of Ireland.

Firstly, they spelt my name wrong on my bankcard. This wouldn't bother me, but I thought it may affect things in the future so I alerted a cashier and she said "It will have to be changed". And so, a WEEK later, I recieved my new card. Fair enough, mistakes are made, but on my next statement I read that I had been CHARGED 5 EUROS for the new card! Not only had I paid for the bank's mistake, but hadn't even been informed that I had to pay for a replacement card in the first place!

Some time later, they gave me a 'courtesy phonecall'. After being asked about the service, I told the cashcard story and was promised a refund for the charge. Of course, I didn't see this.
