General Comments
I just bought the Gamo 220 Hunter Combo .177 and attempted to sight it in. I am very! disappointed in the accuracy. It just will not hold a decent group. For shooting something as large as a rabbit it will be Ok up to about 15 yards, but if you want to shoot anything smaller you better spend a lot of time on your knees praying. The tightest group I can get at 12 yards is about 2 1/2 inches I was expecting at least 3/8 to 1/2 inch at that range, which I don't consider very accurate, but this thing is just awful in the accuracy department. On a more positive note, it handles very well, the scope went on very easily with out a hitch, but doesn't want to stay put. You definitely want to use lock tight! It has lots of power. If it were just possible to put that power in the right spot. It is also noisier than I expected, but that is not a big deal to me. Maybe I just got a lemon, but I plan on returning it and giving Gamo one more chance.
