“The bar area at the Milan restaurant in Worsley,...”

written by worsleygreen on 25/11/2006

Good Points
Well furnished and, erm, that's it!

Bad Points
Where to start. Bad service, worse food, high prices, low quality.

General Comments
The bar area at the Milan restaurant in Worsley, Manchester is too small, and it is often too crowded, with people waiting too long for tables they had booked days in advance. Staff turnover is very high, and you will never see the same face twice. Tables tend to be too close together, and one or two are in very bad spots, especially the one under the stairs near the cloak cupboard. The food is dismal to say the least. The veg doesn't taste fresh, and food is cooked with no imagination used whatsoever. There are too many dishes to choose from, which, I assume is why the food isn't too clever. Because the high staff turnover means lack of competence due to new chefs having to learn too many dishes.
