“I'm often suspicious when something gets top ratings...”

Good Points
Boat crew and our tour guide, Egyptians in general, the sights and history, and, last but not least, the food!

Bad Points
Nothing bad to say about this cruise.

General Comments
I'm often suspicious when something gets top ratings from everyone but this cruise deserves such praise. The boat was slightly smaller than I'd imagined but you quickly realise this is an advantage, fostering a cosy atmosphere and allowing you to get to know all the staff and other passengers. The food, (especially the pastries) was excellent, and this is coming from a fussy, semi-vegetarian. Trips onshore usually start very early in the morning but it's worth it to beat the crowds of tourists and you get plenty of leisure time in the afternoons and evenings. Combined with a 3-day added trip to Cairo (also organised by Thomas Cook), you'll cover all the essential sights in Egypt plus more with this holiday. Even so, you'll find you'll want to come back again and again!
