Bad Points
How do you clean it? Quite heavy.
General Comments
I purchased the Garden Groom shortly after they came onto the market and at that time I had lots of small leaf bushes in the garden and found it useful. Since then I have moved and last year used it a few times on a large conifer hedge. Despite the fact I made sure the container was cleaned out every time it was used the sap from the conifer gunged up the machine. Problem - how do you clean a Garden Groom? I tried to clean the blades in situ, limited success. I tried to take out the central screw to give everything a good clean - the top of the screw simply sheared away and now I can't do anything with it. Sap from conifers is always a problem with you can easily clean the blades of secateurs, loppers, hedge cutters and the info on Garden Groom indicates it is really good for conifer hedges. I found the collection bag too heavy to use.
