my experiences with meteor!!!!!!!!!!1
avoid them. they ruined my holiday. i called into the local meteor to set up roaming because anytime i called the helpline i would get cut off due to the awful reception and they wouldn't even call you back. some customer service that is!!! i would have to go outside the house to make a phone call and this is not something you wanna do in the winter.
my final straw was while on holidays i had no network. i tried everything manual search and automatic search of service provoiders but none worked.
i was expecting a call while away about a job and when i returned to ireland i found out that the job was given to another person because they couldn't get hold of me.
i called to the meteor shop to complain and the girl behind the counter didn't even give me a chance to finish my agreement, she just told me to ring customer support.
i rang and was told that to cancell my contact i have to pay 200 euro and she said that the reason that the roaming did not worked was the shop assistants fault and not theirs ????
how could someone in a meteor customer support tell me that its not meteors fault if one of the meteors staff did not set up my phone correctly for roaming.
please if you have any sense (unlike me) do not move to meteor. there is a reason why they are cheaper.
