“Best car rental service I've ever had in my entire life!”

I would have lost quite a lot of money if I hadn't booked through RentalCars.com! I had booked and payed for a car at InterRent (via RentalCars.com). I set the correct date with the pick up time to be at 10 (didn't know it was a big deal). We got to InterRent (not located at the airport) by the shuttle transport through dense and slow traffic. When we arrived at 16.30 (late according to the pick up time set when I did the booking), the very busy man at the counter said that our car was GIVEN AWAY after we've been 1h delayed! So...we had NO CAR and were left with two options: 1. to take another (much bigger) available car and pay double the price on top of what we payed already, or to 2. decide to leave without a car. This was very frustrating.. I was desperate and called RentalCars.com. To my surprise, a man called Patrik answered my call and I got service in my native language, Finnish (not too common!). And BELIEVE IT OR NOT..Patrik did a truly OUTSTANDING JOB, and not only cancelled the whole InterRent booking and arranged the WHOLE SUM to be refunded, but he also booked a BETTER DEAL for me at Sicily By Car. We got back to the airport to their desk, got the car quickly, it was clean, new, in good shape and nice to drive! I thought I at least lost my money to InterRent, and I would have done so if I wouldn't have booked through RentalCars.com, but Patrik and his colleagues did such an outstanding job, which saved me from both money lost, an unsuitable car, and a huge amount of stress! THANK YOU! I will ALWAYS book through RentalCars.com. Best service I've had for ages!
