Absolutely hopeless! I will never use any broker again let alone Towergate! They didn't pass on half the relevent information to the insurers which obvioulsy then gave them the chance to wriggle out of a genuine claim. Even though they turned down the claim I have to say AXA staff were brilliant. The phone calls were answered quickly and i got through to the correct department with ease - something that took around 8 hours with Towergate. AXA staff took control of the enquiry and had all the information they needed to hand. Towergate staff were more of the ilk "AXA turned down your claim and there's nothing we can do about it" - hopeless! Needless to say Towergate have lost a loyal customer and I suggest you avoid them too. On the review websites Towergate get 4 and 5 stars however if you look these are all from customers buying insurance NOT people making claims!
