“Extremely poor service and value for money”

written by on 12/01/2017

I have been going to my local Specsavers in Keighley for a number of years, (I should have moved earlier). In 2015 I had eye cataract surgery which was very successful, however after this I still needed glasses for reading. I went to Specsavers,I underwent their eye test, and paid £300 plus for two pairs of glasses. I was unable to read with the glasses so I went back for a re-test.
The Optician was in my opinion very, very, unhelpful. Being unable to read with the glasses I was of the opinion that the prescription given earlier was wrong. The Optician went through the examination in a very abrupt and arrogant manner, making me feel totally inadequate,( I am a lady of a certain age)
Needless to say was not happy with the outcome, and I have vowed never to set foot in Specsavers again, but it still leaves me £300 out of pocket with glasses I can not use, and obviously having to purchase some more.
