I rented a car for 4 days in September 2016. In my reservation I ordered a GPS device. When taking the car in Ljubliana I insisted that the GPS should be fully checked before I leave the station, and I soon found this to be a wise move - the GPS device was not functional (could not be charged). After a lot of trying the guy who served me told me he has no solution for me because this GPS device is the only one he has. He offered to give me a WiFi router and suggested that I use my smartphone's navigation app with it. I told him I did not bring a car charger with me because I did not expect to need one, but he said it is either the WiFi router or I get nothing, so I took it. As I had feared, my battery went dead in less than an hour of use, so practically I was driving for the whole trip without a navigation system (and indeed lost my way several times). When getting the charges after the trip I found out that not only ATET did not think they should compensate me for ordering a GPS and not getting one, they even had the guts of charging me for the WiFi router !
In addition to that, when I returned the car in Ljubliana airport the ATET desk was closed. Be aware this was in the middle of the day, and I am talking about the country's main international airport. I called them and they told me to leave the car in their parking area, which I did. When later getting the bill I found out they charged me for damage to the car. I am sure I was not involved in any accident and did not hit anything during those 4 days. Because of the return desk being closed I did not have an opportunity to be present when the car was inspected, so most probably ATET saw here a good opportunity to make some money from an innocent tourist.
My advice to you - keep away from this rental company !!
