“Easy booking process”

All easy process, but be weary of insurance sales and read all small prints.
I thought I bought the full and most comprehensive insurance that is offered on the website, but at the Airport counter I was told that I will have to buy their own insurance or no rental agreements can be drawn up, costing me €27 extra for the 5 day rental which is not a lot of money, but a matter of principle.

The website did indicate that in Spain this might happen and you can refund that money through the website that I booked the car from, but unfortunately i did not have access to the internet during my stay. Perhaps they bank on this being the most common occurrence and most people like me could not be bothered to follow it up, thus making the extra money from insurance sales that will not be of any use.

Perhaps booking directly with the car rental is the best way, you may pay a few pounds extra, but it is all clear from the start.
