“The good and the not so good”

written by on 17/12/2016

Hotelbuilding (Club Targa Aquapark) and grounds very nice but remote with nothing walkable from the hotel. The shuttle service was a help but really needed to be more frequent and last one back later at end of the day. Limited number of staff who could speak English, some staff helpful but many others would just ignore if they did not understand us. Restaurant too small for number of guests. Food always Tepid/cold unless you are lucky enough to be at the counter just as the food is brought out from kitchen. Meat dishes limited. vegetarian dishes plentiful.Salad bar and deserts excellent. No nets or privacy curtain in rooms so had to keep heavy curtains closed for privacy. Lighting in rooms very low so don't bother to take makeup unless you have your own lighted mirror. Torch recommended for night use or leave bathroom light on as room very dark at night. beds and pillows extremely firm (and I am someone who likes a firm mattress but this was uncomfortable even for me). Black mould on ceiling above shower but the shower itself was an extremely powerful power shower
