“Credit Control (bytesize skills) level 1”

written by Will62 on 08/12/2016

Very good. Applied to do this course because I wanted to show employers I have some knowledge in Credit Control. The course booklet and information was with me within a week of applying for it. Excellent materials and clearly defined. There was a test paper or final exam with the course booklet, so I worked through the course book first several times, then began my exam questions of which there were 10 to do.

I found this very informative and detailed. To be honest if this is level 1 goodness knows what level 2/3 is like! There was a lot of detail, and I backed up this with research on the internet. When taking the exam you must remember to show where you obtained your information from, e.g a website, name it and show where you got the information. Do not pretend this is your own knowledge or copy from the booklet without stating where you found the information. If you do not show your source of information you will be marked down as it is plagerism.

This course has given me confidence as I have a good basic knowledge now of the stresses a business goes through in giving customers credit and the downfalls and impact this has on a business. I understand the procedure in the courts and the orders that can be obtained to recover debts. I fully recommend this course if you have perhaps worked in a collections office or debt management and want some recognition through an accredited certificate or are applying for such a role. Well done Stonebridge College.
