Let me start by saying that the gentleman who attended to my car was excellent.
Unfortunately, I was not impressed by the response time to my call for help. It took 1 & 1/2 hours to attend to my car. I would think that this response time would be regarded as poor by your company.
I was told that this company is one of the best in its field of work. During our wait Gem got in touch by phone to ask if anyone had attended to the car which, to me, was a sign that all is not well. We were promised a call back but no such call was ever made.
A very surprising response time and one which is starting to make me think I have made a poor choice with Gem. This was a 'home start' to which I am entitled under the terms of my policy but if I had been on my usual trip to Nottingham and this had happened then the response time would have inconvenienced me greatly.
I trusted Gem Motoring Assist to adhere to its advertising hype but I don't feel it did on this occasion, as far as I am concerned.
