General Comments
I bought this gun at Walmart for about $130. It was branded at a "model 1100". It included the ss1000 and a beeman 3-9x32 scope. The mounts and scope are well made and hold firm to the gun. I only wish the scope had a tiny bit more magnification. I have spent a lot of time with the gun in the last few days, and it appears to have been "broken-in".

Tried five different pellet brands, and gamo-hunter and gamo-rocket have worked the best for me. I went ahead and got a Beeman pellet trap 3 days ago. The gamo-rockets proceeded to smashed all the metal tagets to bits! I prefer gamo pellets because they fit snuggly in the chamber. Daisy flat-tops were too loose and not as accurate. My SS1000 likes heavy, fat ammo.

It took a while to sight the scope. Of course, different brand/weight pellets required re-sighting, but a finally settled on gamo-hunter. At 40 yards, the ss1000 will consistantly hit a silver dollar sized target. The groupings are nice and tight. The sights are ajustable and work well. I would like metal sights better. Power is very respectable.

The ss1000 as a fine, durable small-game break-barrel. It has the power and accuracy.
