“I placed an order with mobilefun on the 6th of...”

Good Points
Web site easy to use and seemed to have everything in stock

Bad Points
Poor customer service.
Cancelled order without advising me.

General Comments
I placed an order with mobilefun on the 6th of December for £75 worth of items. The same day I received an email stating that they couldn't ship the order to the address I quoted as it differed from the credit card billing address (event though their order system allowed me to do this). They requested that the delivery address be changed to the billing address. I replied stating that this wasn't the preferred address as the items were xmas presents for my wife and I didn't want her to receive them (being the only person at home during the day), but if that was the only option then they could deliver to the billing address.



I've just checked my online order status (15/12/06) which shows the order as having been cancelled, so I phoned mobilefun to find out what had happened. The chap on the phone was helpful but stated that it can take them some time to respond to emails and in the mean time they had cancelled my order. He offered to refresh the order, but I decided to leave it cancelled.



I'm not happy at all with a company that unilaterally cancels orders without communicating the fact, leaving me sitting waiting for a delivery (especially this close to christmas).
