Good Points
Plenty of parking. Very clean club. Good for the older person.

Bad Points
Membership costs too much to join at £360, plus from about £65.00 a month, it has too many machines, and not enough free weights, and the gym is too dingy and dark.

General Comments
The Athenaum Club Gym in Southend is no good for the average working man. It seems to be aimed more towards the upper class person.
