Good Points
Rustic Italian freshly made to order.
Always a good and ever changing specials board.
Always possible to have something new each time you go.
Once you sit down the table is yours all evening.

Bad Points
Service is occasionally slow and sometimes a little forgetful, but as the table is yours all evening there is usually not a problem.
It is not somewhere to go for a 'quick bite'.

General Comments
My partner and I discovered San Lorenzos in Mossley around six months ago, and we have never had a bad meal there. In fact, we have had nothing short of a great meal there. If we fancy Italian food that feels as though you could be eating at a family run restaurant in rural Italy, this is where we go. We can heartily recommend the house wine, and each meal we have had to date has been superb. Portions are generous and made to order. The specials board often centres around a certain meat or fish, and dares you to be adventurous. You won't be disappointed! If you want a relaxing meal where you do not feel as though you are being shunted out of the door to make room for the next customers, this is the place to go! Just make sure you leave a good 2 - 3 hours to enjoy your food and the wine. It will leave you with a smile on your face for the rest of the night.
