If you plan on using a headset for skype or work-related activities, this is one of the better headset/microphones to use. The battery life seemingly lasts over 6 hours (almost a full work day). The volume control is easy to maintain and can get quite loud if necessary. So far, I have had no complaints with people on the other end of the phone line in regards to hearing me. I recorded a soundbyte of myself to test it out, and there's virtually no static.
