Good Points
None.
Bad Points
Very unreliable. Now on my second replacement. The dealer who tried to fix the original told me he couldn't understand how the thing worked - and wished me the best of luck. The flimsy trigger mechanism on the handle seems to be the root of the problems. I have spent more time and effort taking the machine to the nearest dealer (20 miles away) than cleaning carpets.
Poor design - the liquid delivery systems frequently fails.
It is cheaper to hire a professional cleaning machine. Ours is consigned to the loft.
General Comments
The Bissell Powerwash Proheat / 1698 Carpet Shampooer is one of the worst purchases I have ever made!
I recommend you hire a professional machine from your local dry cleaners - IT WILL BE CHEAPER AND LESS HASSLE!
