Lighter Life - I lost 8 stone in less than six months on this diet. I found it easy to follow because the weight loss was so consistent. I also did a lot of gentle exercise while doing the diet and have kept this up since. After stopping I have put back on some weight (about 3/4 stone over nine months) but was comfort eating due to personal difficulties not connected with the diet. I have (largely) resolved these and am losing weight via the standard modification of diet and exercise advice. This is practical for target weight loss of a stone or less but for the amount I had to lose (8 stone) it would not have been practical. I would say the diet itself is the easy bit and what counts is what you do after (they help you with this and you need to think hard about why you ended up overweight in the first place or the problem will come back - I have and am now confident that I have it licked long term).
