“Poor Communication! ”

We ordered a bed an expensive one at over £1500. Went in a couple of times to look and make sure it was the right one. We ordered it, during this time we had many discussions with the sales people about our new small house!
The bed arrived and delivery guy said that the mattress wouldn't fit up the stairs unless they bent it and damaged it and we would have to sign a disclaimer first. He recommended we didn't. He said did they not say it was a wire frame and couldn't be bent. We said no. So the whole bed went back. (Great delivery guys, really friendly and helpful!) Materesses we have bought in the past have been able to be bent...I didn't know any different!

We called up and we're told we could buy it in Zip and Link but this would be £700 more later down to £300 and we would have to pay the difference or come in and find something for the same price. They said it was our fault and if we didn't pick one of those options we would loose our £180 deposit. So we took some time to think 2 weeks roughly as it's a big financial difference.

We called this week to bite the bullet and pay the difference, the girl on the phone had no record of our precious conversations and stated she would have to get her colleague to call us back tomorrow. No call received. I assume we will have to call back, it's my partners 30th (was part of his present the bed arriving). Not calls we wanted to be having his birthday week! This is ongoing but so far rubbish!
