I'm intrigued by all the other contributors stories. They mostly imply they actually spoke with someone at Bell. Now this is not my experience and I only made contact after 6 hours of phoning and despite asking them by e-mail at least 4 times they never called back. So I send an e-mail to the complaints dept and guess what - no reply! A truly dreadful company with no notion of customer service. Once this years cover runs out I will migrate to another company and frankly I will be willing to pay more for service rather then hearing that my call is important but we cannot be arsed to answer a phone call or e-mail from, wait for it.... A CUSTOMER. There are so many rubbish insurance companies out there but Bell who are part of Admiral must surely rank with the worst of them.
