“Prompt and efficient”

written by Williams481 on 02/12/2016

Very professional, prompt, efficient customer service. Answered all my queries quickly and accurately. Friendly, well mannered.

I use AXA PPP as my personal Private Health Insurance Provider and have done so for many years. They are upfront, reliable, consistent, well reputed insurers and have never failed me.

When I have needed medical treatment in the past I have been able to access treatment asap and been covered by them. The bureaucratic details are dealt with via AXA PPP in liaison with my self, the Clinician/Consultant, hospital and so forth.

There isn't anything I can fault them with, to be honest. So there are no criticisms that I have to give.

Please be aware that you do have to pay insurance excess each year. Also, that some Specialists fees are higher than others and therefore if you choose a more expensive specialist who in turn uses a more expensive anaesthetist you will have to cover part of their fees - ascertain exactly how much in advance. This applies both to consultation fees and surgery fees.

However, AXA PPP do cover all hospital fees, Scans, X-Rays, blood tests prescribed by all consultants across the board.

You must ensure that your consultant is recognised with AXA PPP. You find this out by asking Customer Services whom have a ready list and will clarify with you whether they are recognised and whose fees will be covered by them as insurance providers.

Be aware that you lose your 50% bonus discount when you claim on your insurance. Clarify the details of this with AXA PPP customer services.

My procedure (if required) will be for re-occurring fibroids and/or othet gynaecological issues. I had one minor operation in 2012 and may need another one: it is not certain - I need a consultation and scan first of all to clarify.
