“truely awfull”

charges way too much security deposit compared to some others, and that's just the start....
I rented a car in Bulgaria, and returned it to the airport, unmarked, all ok,
3/4 of an hour after the guy was checking the car he returned with pics of a Large scratch and damage to the car at the front, I pointed out I had checked the car when I parked .and the car appeared to have moved position in the pics, it looked like he had hit a high kerb moving it,
they denied this and tried bullying me into making a story up to say I had done the damage, they claimed it was so insurance would pay up, and I would not have to,
I refused as I hadn't done it and walked away,
a few days later I received a bill(Bulgarian, not English) to repair a scratch of around 250 pounds!!!!(you could buy 2 new wings and painted up for that in Bulgaria,)they refused to give me an English bill, the details of repair, or even help,,,wouldn't even give me an insurance claim form so I could contact them....
my credit card company was informed and I received a FULL refund almost straight away,
hertz for me meant hidden costs and in all truthfulness the car wasn't as clean as it should have been, the "full" petrolwas on 3 quarter after a few mile too, hmmmmmm

hertz have never apologised nor even contacted me after all this, great company, never use them, in particular in bulgaria
