General Comments
We bought a Samsung TV from Currys on the 6th of November. After a fortnight the earphone socket stopped working. Also, the S is missing from the motif on the front of the TV. When I eventually got through to the complaints department after spending a great deal of money on phone calls, being put through to the wrong department, I was told I would have to wait nearly a month for an engineer to come and take the TV away, and they would not lend us another set. We feel we should be given a replacement, as it is only 6 weeks old. We need the earphone facility as I'm quite deaf, and I need to turn the sound up, and so as not to disturb other people, I use earphones. They told us by phone they would replace it, but then went back on their word.
