HEALTH WARNING YOU WILL GET STRESSED IF YOU USE THE WOOLWICH FOR A MORTGAGE YOU NEED LOTS OF WEEKS AND A PATIENT VENDOR AND STRONG NERVES AND TIME TO CALL INDIA EVERY DAY. 10 weeks into the process of applying for a Woolwich mortgage and it is turning into the most stressful experience, phoning the Indian centre everyday begging them to take the money for the Survey as this is holding up the mortgage offer, we have been told 'you will get your offer in 48 hrs' about 5 times now, they said paperwork was at the underwriters but our Barclays contact found out the underwriters had never recieved any paperwork since April (it is illegal to lie about such matters)but they want you off the phone quickly to move onto the next call. If I worked like this I would be sacked. They have left us a message on our mobile which was about important paperwork still needed, trouble was I could not understand the message. Woolwich you need to get rid of this system it is not working -I am telling hundreds of people daily at work who will be telling thier friends etc. We unfortunately are too far down the line to pull out but we can help others to go with another company who have not taken this route.
