Good Points
Value for Money, Lightweight, Asthetically pleasing, Easy cocking stroke, Nice stock finish, Good scope rail, Good handling, Well balanced.
Bad Points
Cant use a long scope, Moderator is not effective, Not available in Left Hand, Moderator end cap loosens, Preferred the steel "wave" trigger guard as per the Mk. 1., Trigger "creeps" on second stage pull.
General Comments
Generally a sound, good quality rifle for the money. My personal criticism is as with most of BSA's guns, its not available in true left hand design but it can be shouldered in its rt. hand form,
unlike the Tactical which I would have purchased had it been available left handed.
I accidently "chewed off" the breech seal by placing a longish scope on the rifle. Upon cocking, the seal impacted with the scope object bell damaging it permenantly. WATCH THIS!
Overall I'm still forming an opinion but its not a patch on my old Fenman. But then again, it didn't cost as much.
