I bought ASDA car insurance online 22nd Jan 11,paid £68 deposit..then realised they haven't got a phone line for you to be able to raise queries/not a good customer service.. so I cancelled this insurance on 29th Jan 2011(should be refundable/not over the 14 days cooling off period) by email because online cancellation doesn't work..I only got a reply after 3 emails sent.I have chased up for my refund and was told that it could take up to 30 days processing and I have to send Certificate back and proof of my NCD which I did on a recorded delivery. Weeks later I sent an email again asking for my refund only to be told that I am not entitled to a refund, they only received the Certificate but not the proof of NCD,I sent both in 1 envelope...showed me how they calculated it..charged me 16 days insurance+£75 cancellation fee????SCAM!!! and CHEATS!!!! stay well away from this insurance company.. MONEY GRABBING SCAM BAGS!!!
